I hear the Occupy protesters returned to Easton recently. Where were they during the long, cold winter? I am glad George Washington and his troops were not fair weather patriots or they never would have endured the winter at Valley Forge. The trial of Timothy McVeigh cost taxpayers $13.8 million in 2001. If this “troubled teen” does not receive the death penalty, tax dollars will pay for his room and board for decades.
What did he do for the country that paid his way to terrorism? He “stimulated” our economy by buying a few pressure cookers for less than a couple hundred dollars.
