Here's what's trending for February 22.

A white month of February gets a bit whiter today. "A burst of snow late this morning through mid-afternoon will leave behind a few inches of snow in places," says Accu-Weather's Joe Lundberg. He expects midday snow to accumulate one-to-three inches before it switches over to a rain or snow shower late this afternoon. Up in the Poconos, it will probably be all snow, meaning three-to-six inches are likely.

Police are investigating a deadly crash on Route 378 in Bethlehem. A van rolled over shortly after 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon on the northbound side of 378 between the Main Street and Eighth Avenue exits. The driver, whose name has not been released, died at the scene.

A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle in Lehigh County. It happened around 8 o'clock Saturday night on Route 22 west in Whitehall. State police said a male was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. There's no word on his condition. State Police in Bethlehem are investigating.

Residents waiting to get their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine are going to have to wait a bit longer. Last week's vaccine shipment for LVHN was delayed by winter storms, but they are arriving today. However about 3200 second dose appointments from Saturday, Sunday and today had to be rescheduled. Those scheduled to receive their second dose of the Moderna vaccine Saturday are rescheduled for this Saturday. Yesterday's appointments have been moved to this coming Sunday and today's appointments are re-booked for a week from today. All appointments are at the same time, just a different day. LVHN still plans to hold a mass vaccination clinic this Wednesday at Dorney Park.

Pennsylvania is going to remain under a disaster emergency for another 90-day period. Gov. Tom Wolf has signed off on a fourth disaster declaration since the pandemic began. The governor says we are still in the early stages of the vaccine's administration and adds the renewal of the declaration will allow the state to maintain its response against COVID-19 and support testing, contact tracing and vaccination work. The newest installment of the declaration is set to last until May 19th.

New Jersey is reporting another 1800 additional coronavirus cases. Gov. Phil Murphy shared the latest case count on social media, confirming he's also gearing up to make a COVID-19 sports-related announcement today. It comes as the Garden State administered more than 1.6 million COVID vaccines, more than 1.1 million are first doses.

Penn State's first-ever virtual THON is being called a success. The 46-hour dance marathon raised more than $10.6 million to benefit the Four Diamonds Fund. Since 1977, the world's largest student-run philanthropic event has raised more than $190 million to help in the fight against childhood cancer.

A German shepherd in Westmoreland County is indeed man's best friend. Edward Swingle says his pet named "Keeper" caught a man trying to break into his home. "My neighbor started yelling that there was a guy in my bushes and then I see a guy running in my door full-force so I yell for "Keeper" to go get him and he went right through those bushes and grabbed him in the pants legs and dragged him off the porch," Swingle says. "Keeper" is only four months old.

Today is the deadline for New Jersey's two bills that would legalize marijuana for adult recreational use. Gov. Phil Murphy says work continues behind the scenes to try to reach a compromise. "There are a lot of folks doing everything they can to try to get this thing to a good place before the clock runs out. We shall see. It's too predict where this lands," the governor says. Murphy has refused to sign the bills so far, saying there's too much grey area when it comes to people in between ages 18 and 21. The governor says he wants to make sure young people aren't allowed to smoke weed, but also wants to limit interactions with police, perhaps making it only a fineable offense.

New Jersey's efforts to provide small businesses with financial relief continues. New Jersey Redevelopment Authority is opening applications today for phase two of its Small Business Lease Emergency Assistance Grant Program. Businesses could be eligible for up to $10,000 in commercial rent relief. Applications can be found online at www.njra.us.

Carson Wentz is thankful for his time in Philadelphia. The former Eagles quarterback was traded to the Indianapolis Colts last week and he's speaking for the first time since the trade. Wentz took to his Instagram account to say that the past five years in Philadelphia has been everything that a kid could have dreamed of. He thanked the Eagles organization for drafting him and the fans for supporting him during his tenure as an Eagle. The Eagles drafted Wentz with the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
