An after-hours club in Allentown that has seen trouble many times before, saw more of it over the weekend. A 36-year-old man was stabbed several times early Sunday morning at The View nightclub in the 1100 block of Hamilton Street. When police arrived, they say they found fights going on throughout the building. The city tried to have the club closed three years ago, but backed off. City Councilwman Candida Affa hopes the city won't do likewise after the most recent incident. "We're going to use every resource we have. We're going to fight them tooth and nail. This can't happen any more," Affa says. Sunday morning's stabbing victim is expected to recover. No arrests have been made.

Burglary charges against Shawn Christy have been dropped. The Luzerne County District Attorney's office says the charges, stemming from a home break-in two years ago, were dropped because the case went to the federal level. Christy was recently convicted of making threats against President Trump and then-Northampton County DA John Morganelli before being arrested after leading police and U.S. Marshals on a nationwide manhunt. His sentencing is upcoming.

Panther Valley Elementary School is closed today. This comes after three rail cars from the Reading Northern train went off the tracks along North Mermon Avenue Sunday. Those who get the bud from the school or New Columbus will not have transportation either. There's no word yet on how long the train cleanup might take.

Jynx retired after the incident and had been battling an aggressive form of cancer.

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship checked for the Coronavirus in Bayonne, New Jersey is scheduled to depart later today following an all-clear diagnosis. This passenger is taking the delay in stride. "They're just trying to be safe. To me, if it's going to happen, it's going to happen. That's why we're still going on it," the man says. All tests performed on the passengers aboard the Anthem of the Seas show they were not infected and the vessel is cleared to set sail for the Bahamas.
